Alex McDermott

Alex is a board-certified, New York State licensed aesthetician. She graduated with high honors from the Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics in New York City, where she received comprehensive training in both holistic and clinical skincare techniques. She is also a professional member of Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP), a leading organization dedicated to supporting licensed skincare providers with ongoing education and high standards of practice.

Prior to becoming an aesthetician, Alex had a professional career in musical theatre. Her time on stage—under bright lights, in heavy makeup, and through demanding performance schedules—gave her firsthand insight into the unique skincare challenges performers face. This experience sparked a passion to help others care for their skin with intention, knowledge, and empathy.

Alex believes in skincare that goes beyond the surface. She combines results-driven techniques with a personalized, supportive approach to help clients achieve radiant, resilient skin that fits their lifestyle—on stage or off.
