What to Expect

Pre-Treatment

Avoid strenuous exercise, ibuprofen, aspirin or alcohol for 24 hours as this might increase your risk of bruising.

Avoid strenuous exercise and massaging the area, ibuprofen, aspirin or alcohol for 24 hours as this might increase your risk of bruising.

Pre-Treatment

It is safe to apply skin care and/or make up after treatment.

Post-Treatment

Avoid laying face down for 4 hours following treatment.

Bruising and swelling can occur, but will typically subside after a few days. You may apply arnica to help alleviate the bruising.

What should I expect immediately after Botox treatments?

Mild bruising can occur, but will typically subside after a few days. You may apply Arnica and ice to the affected area periodically if bruising occurs.

What results can I expect from the treatment?

The client will notice fading of fine lines and wrinkles as well as improvements to overall skin quality. Some clients have expressed relief from TMJ and migraine pain.

When should I come back for my next treatment?

A 2 week follow up is recommended after the product has settled. If any asymmetry is noted or patient has more muscle movement than desired, a complimentary 2 week touch up is recommended. For optimal results, we typically suggest scheduling wrinkle reducer treatments every 3-4 months.

Can you get Botox while pregnant?

No, wrinkle reducers are not recommended when pregnant or breastfeeding.

Does Botox hurt?

Pain is mild and minimized with ice and pain distraction techniques.
